DevOps Engineer

Role & responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for provisioning and configuration automation.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Create scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of release management processes.
  • Optimize development workflows and processes for increased efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years hands-on experience in relevant software development technologies.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, or similar.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes (Experience in K8s is highly recommended).
  • Cloud platforms expertise & Certification: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Infrastructure as Code tools knowledge: Terraform or Ansible.
  • Strong proficiency in Git for version control.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (RDS, EC2, S3, CodeDeploy) and proficient in SQL/MySQL database management.
  • Skilled in configuring and managing web servers (e.g., Apache, Litespeed, Nginx) and application servers (e.g., Tomcat).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed across our infrastructure and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with server management consoles like cPanel, Plesk panel.
